ANN ARBOR -- Eliminating turnovers is the goal of every football team, but there will be an added emphasis when Michigan plays at Notre Dame on Saturday.

Heavy rain and windy conditions are in the forecast for game time, and a slick field and wet football potentially can make for interesting offense.

U-M coach Rich Rodriguez said the Wolverines haven't had the opportunity to practice in rainy conditions, because the weather has been so dry since preseason camp started in early August. He said they try to simulate wet conditions during Thursday practices.
