Illini face must-win visit at U-M
They're facing possible 0-2 start in the Big Ten and the prospect of falling out of contention.

ANN ARBOR -- Illinois comes to Michigan Stadium scarred but not beaten.
And maybe a little bruised, too.
The Illini are 2-2, having lost to teams -- Missouri and Penn State -- ranked among the nation's top six. They are out of the national rankings for the first time this season, and now they face the possibility of being out of Big Ten title contention.
So Saturday's game against Michigan (2-2, 1-0) has become a must-win for the Illini, who desperately are trying to find a boost for the rest of the season.
"Any win adds momentum for the season," quarterback Juice Williams said. "This definitely is what we need this week after suffering a loss. Having a win out there at the Big House would definitely spring forward the entire team.
