Michigan WR misses game due to violation of team rules
Lynn Henning / The Detroit News
ANN ARBOR -- Saturday's affair at Michigan Stadium was not a game in which Michigan could afford to be undermanned, even by a single player, against a team as talented as Illinois.
It made Darryl Stonum's absence all the more conspicuous.

Stonum had caught five passes in four games for 48 yards.
Pressed for details on Stonum's status, Rodriguez brushed off questions and said he would only discuss game issues.
