It seems regarding to Coach Rod he accepts losing as part of the process of change. Also, from a fundamental stand point, we suck, and I find it hard to believe that this coaching staff wasn't aware of this deficiency, so will they address these issues this year.

Thanks for the question. Some growing pains and change over problems are to be expected. It is part of any regime change. Add in complete change in philosophy and scheme and you compound the problem.
We doubt anybody, Coach Rod, and staff included expects this much pain. It was beyond what should have happened in our opinion for the first year at Michigan.
Why it was accepted? In our opinion again has to do with fact that many wanted change so bad they are willing to bite bullet in first season or two in exchange for playing new schemes.
As for fundamentals, they were drilled very hard when we were at Michigan practices and scrimmages. They were emphasized and drilled in multiple sessions.
In our opinion, big part of the problem was just lack of overall talent once the fall roster was complete, and fact that is hard to teach new techniques in one season. If it continues into next year, it will be time to question methods.
