Strengths:
Outstanding motor and movement skills, closes to the ball with an vengeance. He uses hands very well and is very sound physical tackler. Drops his inside shoulder and plays with leverage allowing him to be successful against bigger stronger opponents. Plays flat to line of scrimmage and shows good to great hips. This kid has ability to be dynamite special team’s player.

Needs Work:
He needs to concentrate on his positional play. He has tendency to get out of his lane. Needs to do better job keeping outside arm free and maintaining outside leverage on pass rush. He could be tad stronger at point of attack. At times, he runs around DE without getting a piece of OT. This can allow the OT to get to second level and block LB’s.

Taylor Hill is coming in this class as a LB along with J.B. Fitzgerald (NJ), Marcus Witherspoon (NJ) and Kenny Demens (MI). An excellent group of LB's with all good speed. Probably one of the best groups of LB's Michigan has gotten in quite sometime.
