Kevin Newsome: (Quarterback)

Overview:
Ability to be elite level Quarterback. He is perfect fit for Coach Rod’s offense. Outstanding potential and skill set.

Strengths:
Very quick feet, with explosive first steps and outstanding straight line speed. Runs the Quarterback read option extremely well. His course is unreal, keeps shoulders square, and attacks between the hashes as it is coached. He has nice loose hips. He has long distance arm.

Needs Work:
His tendency is to vacate pocket too early. Also does not tuck ball away when scrambling. Guides his shot passes instead of zipping. Ball also tends to flutter, especially on rolls. This is all technique and not hard to correct.
