Hey Guys,
I have been excited to hear all the news about Michigan's S&C transition under Mike Barwis, particularly with incorporating different lifting techniques and plyometrics. As someone who weight trains regularly, I know that diet/nutrition is a close second to what happens in the gym. Under the previous S&C system, we heard stories about players eating pizza to gain mass. Other than having the players drink Chocolate Milk, how has Barwis influenced their diets?
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks for the question. Coach Barwis is a tireless worker; he puts together individual workouts for players. This includes nutritional program. Every player has specific nutritional program designed to meet his or her individual goals. From what we heard the players have a map laid out for them for the next 18 months of training already and I believe I heard it took Barwis and staff 18 -20 hours per player for their individual work-outs.
