The defense looked almost night and day different today from last week. How can a team change that much in one week?
You guys was pointing out last week that Coach Shafer lost control or was told to switch defenses. Do you think after the terrible performance at Purdue he was allowed to do his thing again?

Thanks for the question. Biggest difference in our opinion was change back to a four front.
This defense has been using much of the time all season. This allowed Michigan to play fast and confident. Who is in charge of defense? That is good question and one we are not sure about right now.
Some signs point to Coach Hopson who is big four front guy, and others to Coach Shafer. On the other hand, could be staff is really working together and putting together a package that is best fit for Michigan’s personnel.
