Michigan Football Tidbits: Best Defensive Players

Michigan Football Tidbits: Best Defensive Players

Defense: MaizeMan – his are easy – same as most improved

1) Boo Boo: Probably the MVP of defense this spring. He has really stepped up his aggressiveness and fundamentals.

2) B. Graham: We all know he is a good player, but now he is an impact player.

3) RVB: Gone from a role player to a top defender on this team.

Defense: CoachBt

1) Brandon Graham: Best player on team, and by quite a bit. Bigger and stronger, and outstanding explosive first step!

2) Boo Boo: Fast and physical, probably the best feet on the team.

3) Floyd: Really turned our heads. He played press coverage and he had the athletic ability to still cover deep 1/3 of the field. What also caught my eye was his tackling.

Defense: ErocWolverine

1) B. Graham: In my opinion, he was the MVP this spring and will make a huge impact this fall. He has taken his game to another level, and you have to give credit to Brandon for putting the time in with the S&C staff to push himself to get ready. By far the best player on the team and it is not even close.

2) Boo Boo: He probably could be co-MVP with Graham this spring as well because he has really stepped up his game. He is aggressive and very physical with the wide receivers and not letting them get off the line easy. He has worked hard on his game, especially fundamentally, and you could really see it this spring.

3) S. Brown: Probably going out on a limb here, but I was impressed with him because of the change. Maybe I am giving him a little more praise then others for this spot, but it is extremely hard to change positions, especially this late in a career, he seems to really flourish from it. He is very athletic and at that position he can do a lot in the passing game and the running game.
