Terrence Talbott
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 175 lbs.
High School: Wayne High School (Huber Heights , Ohio )
High School Coach: Jay Minton
Position: Cornerback
Michigan Recruiter: Coach Jay Hopson
Class: 2010 Recruiting Class (Verbal Commit)
Overview: A very good overall athlete who is a natural cover cornerback. Terrence had some very good combine numbers; a thirty-five inch vertical jump, a 4.5 40, a nine foot broad jump, and a 4.10 shuttle run. These numbers are very high and indicate an above average athlete. Take note especially of the 4.10 shuttle time and the 35 inch vertical jump. It is very likely that Terrence is also capable of helping Michigan on special teams.
Strengths: Terrence is a very physical player for his size and is very good in run support. Fundamentally, Terrence appears to be sound. In particular, he has good/quick feet, is very explosive and breaks well on the ball.
Concerns: His size could be an issue, and taller, physical wide receivers could be a handful for him.
Reminds us of former Michigan cornerback Todd Howard.
Note: The Talbotts are from a very highly regarded Ohio program.

several times in that video, Terrance comes up very solid in run support turning the play inside and if not making the tackle in open field, funnelling the play inside where the tackle is made. This is not only clear in his video, but also in his brothers where you can see Terrance not involved in the play but he is still taking proper angles in case the play breaks to his side...that shows a smart football player who is also agressive and doesnt mind getting physical. Corners who can tackle are going to be a premium as the Big Ten continues to go to more open spread attack offenses. Good pickup.
