Terry Talbott: 2010 Michigan Commit

Terry Talbott

Height: 6'4"

Weight: 245 lbs.

High School: Wayne High School (Huber Heights, Ohio )

High School Coach: Jay Minton

Position: Defensive Tackle/Defensive End

Michigan Recruiter: Coach Jay Hopson

Class: 2010 Recruiting Class (Verbal Commit)

Overview: Terry is a classic Coach Rod defensive line recruit. Like his brother, Terry is a very good athlete who moves well for his size. As one can judge from his listed weight, he is somewhat of a tweener. Terry could play defensive end, or defensive tackle, and is very similar to the other defensive line commits in the 2010 class.

Strengths: Terry shows good explosion and gets off the snap very well. He plays with good aggression and a very high motor. Terry runs well and makes a lot of plays while in pursuit.

Needs Work: As with a majority of high school defensive linemen, Terry has a tendency to play high. Having the correct pad level will be a priority. He does not use his hands real well yet, and has a habit of getting too deep and also over-pursuing.

Terry reminds us of former Michigan defensive end James Hall.
