Mailbag question: Jordan Kovacs

Hey guys,

I know everyone isn't real high on Kovacs but he came in off the bench against MSU Saturday and did a pretty darn good job. A few good tackles behind the LOS, a couple nice open field tackles, Unless I missed something major, I thinks he deserves some credit. How about it??

We have great respect for any player who goes from a walk-on to a starter, or a player that sees a lot of minutes on the field.

Kovacs’ rep has always been a very smart, hardworking, intelligent football player. This reputation goes back to his days playing at Oregon Clay high school in Ohio.

Jordan Kovacs played a very good game yesterday, made three or so very impressive plays in the running game. His effort and passion are unquestionable.
