Mailbag question: Thought Denard would pass more against Delaware State

Hello,

I hate to say so but I was a little disappointed in the Delaware State game. One thing I thought Michigan and Coach Rod would do more was get Denard Robinson into more throwing situations. That way at least other opponents coming up would at least think he might throw the ball more.

Am I nitpicking?

What are your thoughts?

Perhaps so on the nitpicking but the question is valid.
GBMW would also have liked to see Denard Robinson be used in the passing game a little bit more on Saturday.

But with the running game clicking why take the chance? Another factor to consider is how fast Michigan pulled away.

Coach Rod is not the type to needlessly run up a score against an obviously out-manned opponent.

We think this classy move is something others should notice and give the man credit for. It was nice to see so many young players get a chance to play in front of the home crowd with their friends and family looking on.

These young players work just as hard as the starters, but usually do not get rewarded with playing time on Saturday's.
