Windward LIVE presents Boys B-Ball Game This Saturday
Windward LIVE will stream the boys varsity basketball action this Saturday night at 7 p.m. (10:00pm EST.) as Windward and Campbell Hall, two of California's top-ranked teams, square off at the Jackson Center. The game features several players from both teams bound for NCAA Division I play. If you can’t make it to the game, simply come to the Windward Web site to view the webcast from the comfort of your home computers.
Windward is expecting a packed Jackson Center, and players and coaches are feeling the excitement. “It’s going to be a great game, really exciting!” says UCLA bound Windward center Anthony Stover. “We’ve hitting shots and rebounds in practice, and everyone is hoping to contribute.”
Head Coach Miguel Villegas says the years-long rivalry will once again come to a head, but this time he is looking for his team to be victorious against what is always a tough opponent. “Campbell Hall is a good team,” Miguel says. “As a team we have to play well, and I believe the kids are ready and mentally prepared for the excitement and the emotions.”
