Coach,
Where do you see Isaiah Bell playing once he gets to college? Seems like he will be a linebacker, but it sounds like he wants safety? Won't he be a little to big for safety by the time he arrives to A2 especially we keep hearing "Speed" on defense?

Thanks for the question. Isaiah Bell could play any of three or four positions depending on how much he grows and how much weight he can gain and maintain his speed and athletic ability.
Isaiah could stay at safety, just because you are bigger body does not mean you cannot keep your speed, or grow into linebacker, or even a defensive end. Bell could also contribute on offense; he would an excellent prospect at split end. I would expect Bell to start at safety and nickel, and stay at safety unless he out grows the position.
One of the things I like about what Coach Rod and staff are doing with recruiting is bringing superior athletes who can play multiple positions. This what Ohio State and Tressell have done for years. Bottom line in recruiting (IMO) is simple, bring in as many high quality athletes/football players as possible and positions will take care of themselves.
