Darius Morris has been able to shut a lot of people up that have been dogging on Coach Beilein for either not being a very good recruiter or haven't been able to get the athletic black player on his basketball programs.Most of these people always labeled Coach Beilein’s system as thinking man’s half court game and where it would not be as fun or let the players do their thing.
Well last year we saw this team running up and down the court when it warranted it along with giving the kids free rain of shooting the ball. Yes, that might have been a problem with some guys because they could not shoot. The team also had a lot fewer turnovers than in previous years and you could tell the players were being taught how to play the game and not just go out there as if it is an open gym.
Morris is a player that can help recruit for Michigan and show people that any player can come and play in Michigan new scheme. Seems like he is already helping recruit other players right now as well which is a good thing.
Coach Beilein might not be every persons favorite coach or they are not happy with him not offering every kid in the country. It shows that he has a PLAN and is following it and will offer kids when he feels he needs too and not just to make the local coaches happy so their kid can show he has an offer from Michigan.
Cannot make everybody happy, but he has proven many people wrong just with being able to land a commit from California. Just maybe the local coaches will start to wake up and give this man and his staff a chance to recruit their kids to the University of Michigan.
