Michigan Coaches Clinic: Schedule and introduction from Coach Rod

When arriving to the clinic everybody was able to sign in and get some paper work regarding what was going to happen over the course of those three days. Coach Rod had a letter addressing the people in attendance. “Welcome to the University of Michigan! We are pleased to have you here with us. My staff and I will be available to you over the next few days for questions about our way of teaching and coaching this great game of football.”

“We have scheduled three practice sessions, two practices devoted to skill development and position drill; concluding with a full scrimmage on Saturday morning. In addition to the three practices, my coaching staff will deliver clinic talks on the Michigan spread offense, Michigan defensive schemes and the Michigan punt, punt return, and kick off return special teams. My Director of Strength and Conditioning, Mike Barwis, will discuss our training methods and we invite you to visit our new weight room. On Thursday and Friday evenings, the staff will be available for chalk talks during the social hour.”

“Thank you for attending this year’s clinic. Feel free to make yourself at home and be sure to introduce yourself to us.”

Welcome and GO BLUE!
