I dont get this recuit by RR. Yeah the kid may have 'potential' but his stats last year in HS were
TERRIBLE:

1 TD PASS AND 11 INT!!!

That sucks. We are blowing a scholie on this kid, imo... potential is great, but tell me that there isnt a better dual threat prospect out there, one with potential and one that has produced something on the field.

The kid is a good athlete and frankly do not see anybody in the 2010 class that will be out Devin so why not bring in a guy that can play other positions such as Safety or wide receiver as well.

Number wise we might not have enough quarterbacks now, but we have enough for what we need now. Just need to keep getting a decent quarterback in every class.

With guys like Tate and Devin you have the luxury to move guys like Denard and Cornelius around to other positions if needed.

If you are saying you would prefer a stud defender at this point, 100% agree. If UM is set on taking 2nd QB in 2009 class have no problem with it being superior overall athlete capable of playing other positions. And remember this is only his 3rd season playing football.

yes...too many gambles on these athletic kids who or may not be "diamonds in the rough"...not enough 4 and 5 star defenders coming in... are they even in on any top defensive recruits nationally? Just checked rivals list and it doesnt look like it
