Guys,Is Newsome the best quarterback for Michigan in this 2009 recruiting class that is left on the board. Does he seem to be a guy that has "everything" for Coach Rod's system or the best guy that can do everything?

Thanks for the question. Newsome has the skill set to succeed and even star in the quarterback read option offense. As a coach that is what you are looking for, the skill set necessary to succeed. He does still need some refinement in the short and intermediate passing game. Efficiency is a most in this scheme.
Is he the best left? Tough question, I would say of the ten or so top quarterback’s in class of 2009 he problem has the best skill set of any of the uncommitted quarterback’s on the board at this time. But, as always, there will be new prospects emerge and some under the radar quarterback’s could be just as good as any quarterback in the class.
