Mailbag Question

Any idea what the renovation to Crisler entails. Will U-M sign a European if Udoh bolts? What are U-M's chances with Darius Morris and Andy Brown? Should Beilein strongly encourage Zach Gibson and Anthony Wright to transfer?

Well I hope you get a chance to look at the new Michigan Tidbits regarding Bill Martin it has some good things in it regarding the hoops practice facility that could start this year. Crisler Arena from everything I have heard will be taken care after the Michigan stadium renovations are completed so that would be the fall of 2010. I would ASSume the earliest would be after football season sometime that year.

Morris and Brown ... very good chance at both players and Coach Beilein is starting to show that he can get the major players to look at Michigan and they do not have to be from the in-state programs, but it would be nice if the in-state programs would start to take notice and look to send their kids to Michigan.

I was really thinking he was going to look at a Europe player when Epke was thinking about leaving, but now I think he is looking to get some very good players in the '09 class. I think he went over there to see if he could find that diamond in the rough to bring in right away to replace Epke if he left (of course we know now he is gone). Who knows though there might be a chance still so we will have to wait.

Regarding Wright and Gibson ... NO ... he needs those guys more than ever and they will use up a lot of minutes next year. Right now Wright is the best shooter on the team until the freshmen come in.
