Smallish athlete who is capable of playing muliple positions. ability to provide depth at QB along with other positions makes this a good get.
Strengths:
Super quick athlete who also nice a nice explosion thats him create and play well in space. Moves his feet very well and cuts of his inside foot. Cutting off inside foot allows Gallon to maintain speed and balance both into and out of cuts. Despite his size he shows ability to take a hit.
Needs work:
Plays QB in high school so he lacks experience playing as receiver. also lacks ideal size and definitely needs to be tutored by Coach Barwis to improve his overall strength. Also has not shown the extra gear that separates elite level athlete from the very good ones.

from the Orlando Sentinel:
*THE BUZZ: South Florida schools have won six consecutive Class 6A championships since Apopka's undersized 2001 team ended an Orange County football championship drought with an option offense no playoff opponent could handle. Seven seasons later, the Blue Darters have the same look, and the same goal.*STAR WATCH: QB Jeremy Gallon is only about 5 feet 8, 165 pounds, but he is super-strong and ultra-quick, the perfect poster boy for a team that lacks bulk but packs a lot of punch. Gallon was the Sentinel's 2007 Offensive Player of the Year with 1,613 yards rushing and 1,071 passing with a 63.6 percent completion rate and zero interceptions. LB Larvez "Pooh Bear" Mars will be a fourth-year starter. He racked up 154 tackles as a junior. Third-year starter Travelle Davis is primed for a big year carrying the ball, and Caleb Nelson can contribute in multiple positions -- including QB.
•TODAY: Top players to watch in Orange and Osceola counties.
HE'S NO. 1: Apopka's strong and speedy option QB, Jeremy Gallon, was one of only two underclassmen on the Class 6A all-state team as a junior. He ran for 1,613 yards and completed 63.6 percent of his passes for 1,071 yards.
