Hey,
What do you think about the reviews of Michigan by CollegeFootbalNews.com? In general, their assessments seem to be a bit more positive than what others are saying about the Wolverines.
They seem to give more credit to Coach Rod's abilities and to the level of talent Michigan has than some of the Michigan blogs and many of the media.

Thanks for the question. To be 100% honest we do not read much in the magazines and most of what we talk about is 100% based on what we saw and know from either the spring practices, spring coaches clinic or what we have heard from people that have seen fall practice.
Magazines are fun, but as with most things, they have their prejudices and bias. It is always nice to hear and read good things about your team our advice to keep all of them in perspective. They are making pure guess, just like every one else. So read and enjoy all the media, it helps to get us fans excited and fills in the time between seasons and sells magazines and makes money for those companies.
Our advice is just do not take them to seriously. For the record, Michigan does have more talent in our opinion at some positions, but some definite concerns at others

As far as perspective goes, I read the collegefootballnews.com articles and agree with their views: Michigan isn't going to be as bad as most think. I think too many people are giving Coach Rod the short shrift. And Michigan does have a lot of talent, even if untested. For the first time in many, many years they will be in top physical shape, disciplined, and show the fight and enthusiasm fans expect. They might not win the Big Ten, but I do think they'll be in the top 3 and probably beat OSU. Wishful thinking? Time will tell.
