Notre Dame players want to show Wolverines they've learned from growing pains

As far as opening-season games go, Notre Dame's 21-13 victory over San Diego State last Saturday didn't score high in style points.
But for a program that went 3-9 last season, winning with style has not been the issue.
The issue has been winning.
Period.
Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis knows that and wants any kind of win, even if they're not perfectly executed and pretty.
Notre Dame goes for a 2-0 start Saturday against Michigan (1-1) at Notre Dame Stadium. Michigan is coming off a 16-6 victory over Miami (Ohio) at Michigan Stadium, heading into its first road game.
