Offensive hum will have to wait

Remember the days when you knew who the starting Michigan quarterback would be?

You might not have liked the choice, but at least you knew who would be taking snaps. And that offered some consistency in expectations and, sometimes, results.

Well, it does not look like the Steven Threet-Nick Sheridan quarterback competition is anywhere close to being a done deal. Sheridan started the season opener, but Threet played most of the second half, and Threet started Saturday against Miami (Ohio), but Sheridan played plenty.
