ANN ARBOR -- It didn't take long for Charlie Weis' comments from an Irish booster event the day of the Blue-Gold spring game to make their way to the Michigan training room.
The Notre Dame coach, addressing the Irish faithful on April 19, talked about the season opener against San Diego State, and then he moved on to the Michigan game, which is Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium.
"I've always been one never to make excuses and blow hot air," Weis said; his comments were captured on video and later widely viewed on the Internet.
Weis continued: "We'll listen to Michigan have all their excuses as they come running in saying how they have a new coaching staff, and there's changes.
"To hell with Michigan."
