Michigan linebacker named Big Ten's player of the week

ANN ARBOR – Michigan linebacker Obi Ezeh was named the Big Ten’s defensive player of the week for his play against Utah Saturday.
Ezeh, a sophomore, tallied a career-high 15 tackles and intercepted a pass in the Wolverines’ season-opening 25-23 loss to the Utes. The last UM defender to receive the conference’s weekly honor was Shawn Crable on Oct. 1.
Ezeh also added a pass breakup and had 1 ½ tackles for loss.
