STATE COLLEGE, Pa . -- Michigan quarterback Steven Threet reinjured the elbow of his right throwing arm early in the second half against Penn State, but it's too early to say if he will be healthy for Saturday's in-state rivalry game against Michigan State.
Threet suffered a bruised elbow in the Toledo game and did not play in the second half.
He was listed as questionable during the week, but did start against Penn State. In the first half, he rushed 10 times for 47 yards and threw for 73 yards to help the Wolverines take a 17-14 halftime lead.

Early in the second half, however, Threet was reinjured when sacked by Penn State's Maurice Evans for a 6-yard loss. Nick Sheridan played the rest of the third quarter.
"Same thing happened to (Threet) -- he lost complete feeling in it and couldn't throw," U-M quarterbacks coach Rod Smith said. "We sat him out a series and tried to rehab it, he said he got some feeling back in, and we brought him back, and he got hit on it again."
