Mailbag Question: How bad is this season?
How bad is this season compared to your expectations along with what can we look forward to next year with this group?

Thanks for the question. There is no way to sugarcoat eight or possible nine-loss season.
That is not good and unacceptable at a program like Michigan. What we are hoping is that this is the bottom and Michigan will start to see big improvements next year.
We would not be surprised to see Michigan struggle some early, there is real chance, quite good one actually, and that Michigan will be younger next year than this, especially on defense.
If Michigan does not start to show meaningful improvement, and start to win some of these games in fourth quarter they lost this year, things could get very ugly. Michigan just cannot have two losing, non-bowl eligible season in a row.

agreed. but i hope we dont run RR out of town if he loses a couple early next year. we've shown glimpses of being a good team - first half @PSU, Minny, etc. if we play 4 quarters and stop turning the ball over, look out.
