Mailbag question: Spring game
Two questions:
I see the countdown clock for spring practice, but when is the spring game? Also, will it be held at the stadium?
Thanks,
Mike and David

Thanks for the question.
The spring game will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 -- at Michigan Stadium!!!
This will be the first time Coach Rod will hold a spring game in Michigan Stadium and for many fans the first opportunity to see what the construction workers have been able to accomplish during the off-season.
This event is free to the public. We encourage everybody to attend. Don't forget to spread the word to your Michigan friends and family. It's a good time and the first look for most people to see the 2009 football team in action. They usually have swag to hand out to the fans: rosters, magnets, posters, et
Other schedules that weekend like Michigan baseball who play Illinois and Michigan softball against Minnesota the same afternoon in Ann Arbor, making for a nice afternoon to enjoy Michigan athletics.
We will have more details as the game day gets closer in addition to our spring practice reporting. I would guess the time would be around 12:00pm or 1:00pm. Also, with the BTN alive and well you would have to think that the spring game will be televised, since something like nine of the eleven games from the Big Ten conference last year were on TV. The BTN will push for it just like when the BTN got access to Michigan's practices (even though they did not end up televising a lot of the them).
