Overview: He is a high energy defensive end with a long lean frame. He is a pure weak-side defensive end. He does not have the body-type to add much weight. He will be a solid defensive end prospect and is a good get for Coach Rod and his staff.

Strength: He is a fundamentally strong defensive end who uses hands well and sheds blocks. He stays square to the line of scrimmage and makes up for lack of overall athletic ability by taking good angles and moving well laterally. He has an explosive first step and excellent get-off who has a very good motor and plays from whistle to whistle. He is positionally strong and is solid tackler.

Needs Work: He needs to add weight and strength, so coming to Michigan and working with Coach Barwis will help him out. He does not press out well or separate well from offensive tackles. His burst and closing speed is just average.

All Star Game: His performance confirmed our original evaluation. He showed excellent rush potential, but had problems handling power blocks in the running game.
