2010 Michigan Recruiting: Jeff Luc -- Linebacker

Jeff Luc from Treasure Coast high school in Fort Pierce, Florida.

CoachBt/ErocWolverine quick comments: Excellent combination of size, speed, and movement skills. He finishes his tackles. Plays equally well in space, on blitzes, or on the inside. Needs to work on reads and recognition.

Michigan will have no chance in landing him, imho. He stays in the South.

Agree, more than likely stays in the south. But we are hearing Luc intends to visit UM this spring. If you can get a kid on campus you never know what might happen.

I must backtrack a bit. Did hear Sam Webb state on the radio that Luc does have greater than average interest i U of M. If he can get up to visit, then I would say U of M has a very good chance of gaining his verbal. He would be a HUGE pick up. I have never seen a HS kid level guys like this kid does. Picking up him and Lavey would be a great tag team addition.

That is the biggest thing getting the kid on campus.

They can push playing time on linebacker recruits as well in this class.

One thing with southern kids is trying to get them to Michigan. Also the southern schools such as Florida will be looking at him hard and will make it tough to pull him from there.

Getting one of the five official visits is tough and it would be great to get a real chance at him.
