ANN ARBOR - Solely using facts instead of speculation, there aren't a ton of reasons to be optimistic about the upcoming days for the University of Michigan defense.
Greg Robinson understands that theory but hopes to provide unexpected results.
It is not a stretch to say Robinson, now in his second year as the Wolverines' coordinator, lost his three best players from a ghastly unit. Gone are sack specialist Brandon Graham, and the viable and versatile Stevie Brown. UM could have used Donovan Warren for another season, but the cornerback decided he's ready for the NFL. That's quite a bit of production gone.
