Mailbag question: Zoltan and Stevie
Hey guys,
I was the one that asked about Brandon Graham and was wondering what your thoughts about Stevie Brown going to the Raiders and Zoltan Mesko going to the Patriots.

Thanks for the questions.
In our opinion, if Stevie Brown makes the Raiders roster it will be because of his play on special teams, or for his play in nickel packages. We have a significant doubt he will be an every down player on defense, at least for a while. There is nothing wrong with being a special team player in the NFL. If you can be successful, a good living doing your job is the reward.
Mesko has an NFL leg, the question will be can he adjust his game and become a complete punter at the NFL level. The Patriots are a very demanding organization, but when this franchise finds talent it is usually well used.
The NFL is as much about preventing the big play from opponents and directional punting as it is about a big leg.
Mesko needs to learn how to kick the ball out of bounds inside the ten-yard line and also be more consistent on his long, high range punts so the special teams players can get underneath the ball and not allow the punt returner to advance the ball.
With Mesko’s mental toughness and intelligence, he could shine with the Patriots.
