Miami University RedHawks vs. Michigan Wolverine Preview

Overview:
Miami University showed marked improvement in 2007. What hurt the RedHawks were injuries to key offensive personnel. They lost their Quarterback and Running backs for part of last season.

Strengths:
Miami has nine returning starters on Defense including last years leading tackler Clayton Mullins. There 2007 sack leader Defensive End Joe Coniglio, and Thorpe nominee Strong Safety Robbie Wilson.

Questions:
Miami needs to replace starting Offensive linemen and get better play overall from the offense. If they are to improve Miami needs to stay healthy and avoid the injuries they suffered last year.

Key match ups:
All football games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage. So the key match ups will be Miami strength, their front seven against Michigan’s inexperienced Offensive Line.

Michigan’s strength and experience with the talented Defensive line against Miami's Offensive line. The team whose Offensive line plays best will have the major advantage in this game.

Not sure if you can judge the Miami team facing Vanderbilt last week or not. Michigan better not think they can win just by showing up because of the Miami game the week before. Our predictions will becoming Friday.
