Michigan 2-minute drill

Stop Toledo's big receivers
Michigan is second-to-last in pass defense in the Big Ten (238.6 yards). The play of the secondary has been an issue, and against Illinois last week, it was clear the defensive backs have trouble stopping the big play. CBs Morgan Trent and Donovan Warren will have their hands full against Toledo's big receivers -- Nick Moore (6-foot-4, 188 pounds) and Stephen Williams (6-5, 197). The two actually combined for a touchdown, with Moore completing a 24-yard pass to Williams against Fresno State.
Lose the 'soft' tag
Rich Rodriguez said his players, at times, played "soft" against Illinois. Morgan Trent , when asked if they would take out their aggression on Toledo, said he actually pitied the players on the demonstration team during practices this week. The bottom line is this -- lose the "soft" tag and don't think a win over Toledo will be a given. Michigan must overlook the fact Toledo has one touchdown since its 55-54 loss to Fresno State; that Toledo has played 15 freshmen this year and has the nation's second-smallest senior class (10). Finally, Michigan must overlook the fact this is a non-conference game.
