ANN ARBOR -- Whether Michigan quarterback Steven Threet will start Saturday at Penn State remains a fluid situation.
Threet, who bruised the elbow of his throwing arm in the first half of last week's loss to Toledo, did not practice much Tuesday, but did Wednesday and it appeared he was throwing without pain.
"It will be a situation we'll evaluate more during the week," Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez said. "I think he's going to be available, but again, it really depends on how he can practice."
Rodriguez was clear that being "available" does not necessarily mean he will start.
"If he's 100 percent, he'll start," Rodriguez said. "If he's 80 percent or something like that, he won't."
