Forget hip, be wary of U-M

And all people want to talk about is his bad right leg?
Well, that's not all, but 81-year-old Hall of Fame coach Joe Paterno, who has always looked younger and sounded feistier than his years, has been hobbled this season. While his Nittany Lions have an explosive offensive look reminiscent of their terrific 1994 team, he has been slowed by a freak injury.
Paterno -- and if anyone questions whether he feels young, consider this -- was performing an onside kick during practice in August when he injured his hip. This came nearly two years after he was hit on the side during the Wisconsin game. His left leg was broken and knee ligaments were torn, and he coached from the press box.
