Can Michigan stop Juice and Benn this weekend? That will determine to me if Michigan wins this ball game.
Illinois defense has not played that well this year, but also they have played against to top teams in Missouri and Penn State.
Can Michigan keep "Juice" bottled up and not let him loose.
Michigan cornerbacks are going to have their hands full today trying to contain Benn. They must play their best game to date.
Michigan special teams are going to have to help win this game and not hurt Michigan's chances like the past several games. Benn plays special teams and can take it to the house so the special teams need to step it up. Also when receiving the ball they need to hold onto it as well.
Michigan offense needs to play four quarters of football this week and not rely on the defense to bail them out of the game. The defense last week kept Michigan in the game in which it could have been 30/42-0 last week at halftime instead of 19-0.
Homecoming game and with all the old alumni back Michigan brings home a victory "IF" they play four quarters of football.

I was a little disappointed I didn’t make it onto the Illinois Scout board “UM Lookalike Thread.” I look very much like Jim Boeheim, just not quite as handsome. But I’m here to give my Stone Dead and Lead Pipe Lock prediction for the UM-Illinois game this week. And when I say “Lead Pipe,” I mean don’t bet this, or some guy named Vincenzo will beat your weekly blood bank donation money out of you with a lead pipe after you follow my advice.
I have seen Illinois play exactly ZERO times since UM beat them after Chad Henne had his arm sewed back on in last year’s game. And we all know that the operation worked to perfection, because Chad lateraled the ball to Adrian Arrington who then threw the game clinching TD pass as UM somehow beat the Illini last year.
I see no need for those types of histrionics in Ann Arbor on Saturday. I believe it will all come together for the Wolverines. Despite the first three quarters of the Wisconsin game, I think the offense is improving . I see Steven Threet maturing as both a quarterback and a leader, and the defense will show up again. Everyone has been talking about the inspired play of the offense in the second half as well as the outstanding effort by the defense, and I believe there is also an intangible leftover from the Wisconsin game: the defense was rewarded for their efforts, and that should inspire them to keep up their stellar work.
