What is going on with this offense now? Are they finally getting it or is Minnesota terrible? In addition, Sheridan looked decent so what did the coaches do to let him look better and not get him in trouble with play calling.
Obviously, the running game helped along with the defense, but I was impressed with the offense today.

Thanks for the question. Have to give offensive staff major props this week. They put together a game plan that gave Nick Sheridan a chance to succeed.
They seemed to limit the offense and let Sheridan do things he was capable of doing well. They also exploited weaknesses in Minnesota’s defense.
On defense, returning to four fronts seemed to give defense a huge bump. This week will be big test, not because Northwestern is so better than Michigan. But can Michigan keep the momentum going into Ohio State and getting a positive vibe for the fans, coaches and players.
