I recently started reading your blog and really enjoy it. As somebody who is knowledgeable about the football program, what is your opinion on the missing workout logs information that came out today as a result of the internal university audit?

Same as we feel about the entire matter, another piece of dirt that is making a mountain out of a molehill.

Those logs are a complete joke, you can write down anything and there is no way to verify their accuracy. The problem we have with them is the coaching staff knows they need to do these and they completely dropped the ball for the entire 2008 year (or at least what the Detroit News) made it seem and this is not their first college coaching job or Coach Rod's first head coaching tenure.

If you noticed, every Big Ten program backed Michigan up. Because they know they could not stand up to the scrutiny either and realize that they are doing it as well.

The problem for Coach Rod and the entire Michigan football program which includes the coaches, football office administrators, players, athletic department, academic advisors, conditioning coaches, and anybody else that has a hand in this football program keeps giving ammo to not only the media, but to other college coaches to use against this program to negative recruit against Michigan.

It seems almost on a weekly basis anymore that something is coming out or something is being discussed on a problem at Michigan and the football program.
