Thanks for the question.
We believe you are thinking of fellow 2007 Michigan recruiting class member Marell Evans from Virginia and not Brandon Herron.
He was also recruited to play outside linebacker, the same as Herron. He has left the Michigan program.
Brandon Herron recorded twenty tackles last season and split time with Craig Roh at the Quick/Death-backer position.

sat right near where Herron's nameplate was at the football bust and his seat was empty.
thought that was a bad sign.
